Terms of Service

These terms apply when you create a MERRY account or buy a licence on merrylauncher.tech. Please read them together with our Refund Policy, Privacy Policy and Pricing.

2. What MERRY offers

MERRY provides interactive games for live streamers: browser-based live stream games and games installed through the MERRY Launcher (including Minecraft-based game modes). Viewers of your stream can influence the game, for example with live gifts or comments. MERRY is not affiliated with TikTok, Mojang or Microsoft; Minecraft is a separate product you need to own yourself where required.

2a. Nature of the service

What you buy from MERRY is a time-limited licence to use game software. MERRY sells software licences only. We do not collect donations, tips or contributions, and we never process payments on behalf of streamers or viewers. The 'gifts' mentioned on this site are TikTok's own in-app virtual gifts, purchased and handled entirely within TikTok; no money from them passes through MERRY. Our games offer no cash prizes.

3. Your account

• You need a MERRY account to buy and use a licence. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• Give accurate information, especially your e-mail address, because licence and order messages are sent there.
• We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, try to bypass licence checks, resell or share licences, or break the law.

4. Licences

• A licence gives one MERRY account the right to use one specific game for the period you choose (for example 1, 3 or 12 months).
• Licences are a one-time purchase for a fixed period. They do not renew automatically and you are never charged again unless you buy again.
• If you buy again while a licence is active, the new period is added to the end of the current one.
• A licence is personal to your account and cannot be transferred, resold or shared.
• We may update games (content, balance, compatibility). We will not remove a game you hold an active licence for without notice; if a game becomes permanently unavailable during your licence because of us, we fix it or refund as described in the Refund Policy.

5. Prices and payment

• Prices are shown in the store before you buy. Customers paying with a Turkish card pay in Turkish lira (TRY) through Shopier. International customers pay in US dollars or euros through Paddle.
• Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for international orders. For those orders, Paddle is the seller you contract with for the payment, handles billing, sales tax / VAT and invoicing, and its own buyer terms apply to the purchase. We remain responsible for providing the game licence and support.
• Applicable taxes may be added at checkout depending on your location. The amount shown in our store for international orders is the price before such taxes.
• We never see or store your full card details; they are entered only on the payment provider's secure page.

6. Delivery

Licences are digital. After the payment provider confirms the payment, the licence is activated on your MERRY account automatically, usually within a few minutes, and we e-mail you a confirmation. Nothing is shipped physically.

6a. No refunds, no withdrawal

All sales of digital licences are final. Because licences are delivered immediately, there are no refunds or cancellations once a licence has been activated or delivered. Consumers in Türkiye have no right of withdrawal for intangible goods delivered instantly (Distance Contracts Regulation, Art. 15(1)(ğ)); consumers in the EU/UK and similar jurisdictions expressly agree at checkout to immediate delivery and acknowledge that they lose their right of withdrawal. The mandatory exceptions (licence not delivered or not usable because of us, duplicate charges, or where the law requires a refund) are explained in the Refund Policy. For international orders Paddle's buyer terms also apply, and Paddle may refund at its discretion, for example in cases of fraud.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use MERRY to stream illegal, hateful or harmful content, to harass viewers, or to break the rules of the streaming platform you use. Do not reverse-engineer, copy or redistribute the games or the launcher.

8. Availability and liability

We work to keep MERRY available, but live streaming platforms, networks and third-party services are outside our control, and short interruptions can happen. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and changes do not affect licences already bought. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without removing any mandatory protection given to consumers by the law of the country where they live.
